MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

  

Dear MCM Supportors & Friends:

Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Hedges.  We trust that 2009 has been a blessing for you and that the New Year will bring you new joys and blessings. 

The Mexico Children’s Mission, Inc.  is still very active, in spite of the violent police and drug war activities.  We only made one trip to Mexico this year, taking a pickup load of supplies to the Bible School located near the border in Mexico.  At present we are providing support to 15 missionary families, 1 student, and 3 very disadvantaged families.  During 2009 we distributed an average of $2,507.00 per month 

Next year we plan to travel to Mexico during the last week in January.  While there we will give up our rent house.  Since our landlord has put our house up for sale, we feel that this is a good time to close out our residence in Mexico.  We will still make trips to Mexico, but they will be shorter in length and will stay in motels and/or with friends.  Each succeeding trip we will continue to transport a pickup load of supplies to those that we help.

While in Oklahoma, we keep busy working in our Church, the First Christian Church, and collecting supplies for our next trip to Mexico.  Also, we have three sons and their families located in Arkansas and Tennessee with a total of 8 grandchildren six of which are in college.  Between our Mexico activities, our Church involvement, and visiting our grandchildren, our time seems to be totally occupied.

DECEMBER 2009 FUNDS SENT TO MEXICO

 As we prepare to close out another year, we want to thank all our faithful supporters.  We were able to provide small Christmas Love gifts to the missionaries this year.  We hope that through the coming year we will be able to maintain our normal support levels with all the missionaries.  Our prayers are that the funds would increase which we could pass on the the missionaries in the field.  They are all really struggling financially.
