Education is the Key

Hermelinda Herrera, a single mother of 13 children, ages 11 through 36. They live in San Francisco Del Rincon, in the state of Guanajuato. One of our supporters has made a long-term commitment to provide funds for the education of Mariana, age 11. She just finished the 8th grade with an overall grade point average of 9.8 (Grade scale 0-10). She has already surpassed the educational level of her older 11 brothers and sisters. Mariana’s goal and desire is to become a math Professor.

We believe that the key to defeating poverty is education. If you would like to become involved in a long-term program to help a deserving youngster get an education, let us know. We will assist with the necessary arrangements.
